about

This song is about what I believe:

I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
(Galatians 2:21 ESV)

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
(Romans 3:21-24 ESV)

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
(Romans 8:1-4 ESV)

lyrics

I believe that Jesus saves me
and He calls me His own
He made right all my failures
when He died on the cross

A constant shield from condemnation
He's Interceding for my soul
Jesus Christ forever worthy
Jesus Christ has made me whole

Be still my heart be still
Be still my heart be still

In your amazing grace
You took away my shame

I'm resting in your hand
Shielded from righteous wrath

Good Shepherd we adore
Your love is our reward

One day you'll come again
We'll be made right with him

Theres no saving act we'd conjure
No deeds that cancel sin
We were born unclean, unworthy
Jesus, makes us right with Him.
